Karni Sena calls for 'Rajasthan bandh' on Dec 6 after chief's killing

A couple of days after Congress lost assembly elections in Rajasthan, the Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena and other Rajasthani communities has called for a 'bandh' on Wednesday to express disapproval at the killing of its leader, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi on Tuesday. According to the information bandh will take place throughout the entire state.

The 'bandh' has been announced in order to demand a judicial investigation into the Tuesday death of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi at his Jaipur home.

The visuals that have surfaced shows that three unidentified armed individuals shot and killed Gogamedi in his living room. According to the officials, Gogamedi was declared dead by doctors at the hospital where he was rushed to.

Reports also claim that Rohit Godara, a gang member of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has claimed responsibility of the murder.

BJP calls it a ‘revenge plan’

BJP after winning assembly election in the state recently, has claimed that it was a ‘revenge plan’ of the Congress after losing the state. BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala shared a video of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi saying that police had input about his security threat but Congress CM Ashok Gehlot reduced his security.
