A startling video from Shirva in the Karnataka district of Udupi has surfaced. where a dog is being cruelly pulled by a man while riding a scooter down the street. The accused reportedly took the dog more than six kilometers away. With the dog, this was done until it passed away.
Social media users are observed to be quite irate when the incident's footage went viral. Manjula Karkera, a volunteer for animal welfare, has brought a complaint against the defendants in this regard under BNS section 325 (try to kill or maim an animal, punishable by a fine, incarceration, or both). After the case was filed, Shirva PSI conducted an investigation and stated, "A man from Mallar chained his dog to a scooter and pulled it toward Shirva." The incident, which was captured on camera by a few people, went viral on social media. The defendant was recognized as Kombugudde native Abdul Khader. Additionally, he was observed using the scooter without a helmet."
