Apart from this, responding to Home Minister Amit Shah's prediction that Narendra Modi would take office as prime minister a third time following the announcement of the Lok Sabha results, Karnataka Deputy CM said, "Let the result come."
With a confident demeanor, Congress Member DK Suresh added, "This time, Karnataka is definitely going to get a good number of seats (Lok Sabha)."
"Without a doubt. We provided the greatest possible governance. Furthermore, we've carried out the five guarantees we made. We've succeeded," he declared.
Earlier on Saturday, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah questioned whether "acche din" had arrived and said that the Prime Minister Modi-led Central government was failing to keep its word to the people.
In the Lok Sabha, Karnataka is represented by 28 MPs. The BJP secured 25 seats in the previous elections, while the Congress and JD(S) each secured one seat and an independent who was backed by the BJP secured one seat.
This time, shortly before the Lok Sabha elections, the Janata Dal (S) and the Bharatiya Janata Party in Karnataka established an alliance.
