Prajwal Samrit, whose father Lance Naik Krishnaji Samrit sacrificed his life during the Kargil War in 1999, has opted to emulate his fathers path by enrolling at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun. Despite receiving offers from prestigious institutions like IIM Indore and IIM Kozhikode, Prajwal displayed remarkable courage in honoring his fathers aspirations and dedicating himself to serve in the armed forces.Prajwal resides in the Pulgaon tehsil of Maharashtras Wardha district, alongside his mother Sarita and elder brother Kunal, who currently works in Pune after completing his MTech degree. Prajwal has consistently demonstrated outstanding academic performance, showcasing his capabilities from his school days. His remarkable achievement came in the form of a 97.51 percentile score in the CAT exam, which is a significant milestone for pursuing an MBA.Despite receiving admission offers from renowned IIMs, Prajwal felt a strong sense of duty and obligation to follow a path in the Indian Army.After completing his BSc Electronics degree from Fergusson College in Pune, Prajwal accomplished two significant milestones in his journey towards joining the Indian Army. Firstly, he successfully passed the SSB (Services Selection Board) exam, which is a crucial step in the selection process.
