The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) Haryana unit president Nafe Singh Rathee and his accomplice Jai Kishan were shot dead on Sunday in Haryana. According to the sources, the police are looking into the involvement of Kapil Sangwan, also known as Nandu, a wanted gangster from the UK.

Who is Kapil Sangwan?

Kapil Sangwan, 32, is the residence of Delhi’s Najafgarh. He is wanted in 18 instances involving offenses in Delhi, Haryana, and Rajasthan, including murder, attempted murder, extortion, robbery, and the arms act.
It is said that before entering into the realm of crime, Kapil Sangwan had left his hotel management degree in Manesar, Haryana. A reward of ₹2 lakh has been announced by the police for his apprehension.

Why is it said that he killed Nafe Singh Rathee?

According to social media sources, on Wednesday, Kapil Sangwan took ownership of the killings of Kishan and Nafe Singh Rathee. He has been embroiled in the long-lasting feud with the gangster Manjeet Mahal fiction and resulted in numerous casualties. Then, Sangwan fled to the UK in 2020 under false pretenses, avoiding capture despite being sought for several extortion cases and gang-related killings. An international search was launched with the help of a red-corner notice.

Meanwhile, in an effort to guarantee that justice is done, the Haryana government has promised to pursue the murderers of Nafe Singh with tenacity and strict measures. Given the seriousness of the crime, the Haryana police then turned the investigation over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Apart from this, SP Jhajjar, Dr Arpit Jain said that a team is investigating the threat that was received.
