New Delhi: A shocking video has surfaced from Kanpur, showing a vegetable vendor named Naushad washing vegetables with dirty roadside water. This incident follows another alarming event in Ghaziabad where two individuals were arrested for allegedly mixing urine into juice sold at a local shop. Both cases have sparked outrage, with calls for strict legal action against those compromising public health.

Vegetable vendor's unhygienic practices

A video from Kanpur’s Chaubepur police station area has gone viral, showing Naushad, a vegetable vendor, washing vegetables using water collected from the roadside. The unhygienic practice has drawn widespread condemnation, with citizens demanding that authorities take action against individuals endangering public health. This incident comes on the heels of the disturbing "urine in juice" case in Ghaziabad.

Two arrested for mixing urine in juice in Ghaziabad

In a separate and equally disturbing event in Ghaziabad, two individuals, including a minor, were arrested for allegedly serving juice contaminated with urine at a local shop. The arrests came after an altercation broke out between the shop’s owners and customers, who accused them of selling tainted juice. The juice shop, known as "Khushi Juice and Shake," is located near the Indirapuri police post in the Loni Border police station area.

The confrontation occurred on Friday evening when a group of angry customers confronted the shop owners, accusing them of mixing urine in the juice. The situation escalated, leading to the shop owners being assaulted by enraged customers. Upon receiving a distress call, local police arrived to investigate the situation.

According to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Bhaskar Verma, police discovered approximately one liter of urine stored in a plastic can within the shop. “A light yellow liquid, later identified as urine, was found at the scene. The shop owners failed to provide a reasonable explanation for its presence,” stated ACP Verma.

Alleged confession of the shop owners

Eyewitnesses claimed that the shop owners, identified as Aamir and his juvenile accomplice, Kaif, admitted to mixing urine in the juice during the altercation. They reportedly apologized to the gathered crowd after the confession, further escalating public outrage.

Police action led to arrests

Following the discovery of urine and the alleged confession, police arrested both Aamir and his juvenile accomplice. A case has been filed at the Loni Border police station, and legal proceedings have been initiated. "Both suspects are in custody, and we are completing the necessary legal formalities," confirmed ACP Verma.

These incidents, both in Kanpur and Ghaziabad, have raised serious concerns over public health and safety, prompting citizens to demand swift legal action against individuals engaging in such dangerous practices.
