A horrifying incident unfolded in the Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, where Sahil, a young man, was brutally beaten to death with sticks in broad daylight. The attack, reportedly carried out by five men, took place in the middle of the road and was witnessed by onlookers, while its video has gone viral on social media, sparking outrage.

Sahil’s sister, Muskan, was a witness in an ongoing case and was scheduled to testify on September 24. It is believed that the attackers, identified as drug traffickers Vivek, Vikram, and Vinay had been threatening Sahil and Muskan. Just a day before the incident, the siblings had lodged a formal complaint at the police station, reporting the threats. Enraged by this, the accused reportedly dragged Sahil out of his house and attacked him, leading to his tragic death.

After the brutal beating, the police arrived promptly and rushed Sahil to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The Kanpur police have since registered a case of murder and arrested four suspects: Vishal, Vivek, Vikram, and Akshay. Efforts are currently underway to locate the fifth suspect, who remains at large.

Initial investigations point to a possible personal enmity between Sahil and the attackers, who were neighbors, as the motive behind this violent assault. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, raising concerns over public safety and the handling of such threats by local authorities.

Another incident has come to light from Punjab’s Moga where some men attacked a shopkeeper with sticks and looted.
