The problems of Tamil Nadu government minister K Ponmudi seem to be increasing. During a program, he made indecent remarks about Hinduism. Taking this matter seriously, Madras High Court has ordered to register an FIR against him immediately. Apart from this, the court has sought an action report from the DGP. The court has issued this order while hearing a public interest petition. The court told the police, if you do not register an FIR, then the court will take suo motu cognizance against the administration and take contempt proceedings.

Ponmudi is accused of making derogatory remarks about Shaivites and Vaishnavites. He compared Sanatan Tilak to a sex position. The minister has also apologized for his statement. The judge said that instead of filing separate FIRs in this case, only one FIR should be filed.

During the hearing on Thursday, Ponmudi's speech was played in the courtroom. After this, the court said that his statement is really unfortunate. The court said that a person holding the post of a minister should not make such statements. The court said that Ponmudi's words are like an arrow shot from a bow. Now there is no point in apologizing. The court said that if anyone else had made such a statement, 50 cases would have been registered against him till now.

The judge said, corruption cannot be tolerated. Similarly, hate speech is also unacceptable. The court said that action was also taken against actress Kasturi, BJP leader H Raja and Annamalai. At the same time, the Supreme Court has said that even if a complaint is not lodged, a case should be registered in the hate speech case. Let us tell you that after the controversy escalated, DMK removed Ponmudi from the post of Deputy General Secretary. He is currently the Forest Minister in the Tamil Nadu government.

Ponmudi had compared Tilak to a sex position and cracked jokes during a public event. After this, BJP leader Anna Malai attacked the DMK. BJP says that Ponmudi should be removed from the cabinet.
