Taking jibe after the announcement of the first list of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has again asked Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to join his party if he feels insulted as his name is not in the first list of candidates. The UBT chief also said that they will ensure his victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.The statement from Thackeray came while speaking at a rally at Pusad in eastern Maharashtras Yavatmal district on Tuesday, targeting Gadkari after his name was missing from the first list of candidates but Prime Minister Narendra Modis name is there. I had told Gadkari this two days ago, and I am repeating it. If you are being insulted, leave the BJP and join the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). We will ensure your victory. We will make you a minister when our government comes to power, and it will be a post with powers, he said.The opposition MVA consist the Shiv Sena (UBT), Sharad Pawar-led NCP (SP) and Congress.He also took a jibe at the Centre saying they should first bring back the Kashmiris and then implement CAA. Notably, Nitin Gadkari is one of the prominent and senior leaders of the BJP but did not have his name on the first list of candidates.
