JNU student alleges sexual harrasment on campus; Goes on indefinite strike against inaction

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) student has started an indefinite strike at the main gate of the campus, accusing the adminstration of doing nothing about her allegations of sexual harassment against four individuals.

A Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) student alleged that she was sexually harassed on campus by four people, including two former students, prompting the university adminstration to order an inquiry. 

Banned two former students

A student of Jawaharlal Nehru University has accused four people, including a campus alumnus, of sexual harassment. JNU administration has started investigation in this matter and has banned two former students from coming to the campus. 
The Left-led students' union has alleged that four men, including two former students, sexually assaulted a student on the campus. The Office of the Chief Proctor of JNU Administration received a complaint of sexual harassment on the night of March 31.

What happened

The purported incident took place when the complainant and her friend were taking a walk near JNU Ring Road at around 2 am in the night. She was allegedly followed by four people, including two students who had already graduated, in a car. He told that these people allegedly sexually harassed the student.

JNU strict action

JNU administration have started investigation in this matter and have declared two former students out of the campus. Due process is being followed and necessary action will be taken after investigation.
