Jharkhand: Nephew turns into beast, does THIS horrific crime with aunt to satisfy his lust

New Delhi: In a disturbing case from Bokare, Jharkhand, a 27-year-old man has been arrested for raping his 25-year-old aunt. The incident, reported by Radhagaon in the Balidih police station area, occurred in July, when the woman's husband worked in Goa. The husband had left his family in the care of his relatives, trusting them to protect his wife and two children.

According to the victim’s complaint, her nephew took advantage of her husband’s absence and sexually assaulted her. Following the assault, the accused allegedly threatened to harm her children and husband if she reported the crime. This intimidation silenced the victim and prevented her from seeking immediate help.

Delayed  justice is denied justice

The victim initially sought help from the local Panchayat, but her plea was ignored, and she was advised to wait until her husband returned. The Panchayat’s failure to act promptly in such a serious matter forced the woman to endure the trauma in silence. Eventually, she moved to her parent's home in the Harla police station area, accompanied by her children, due to the lack of support and fear of social stigma.

Husband's return sparks action

On August 19, during Raksha Bandhan, the victim's husband returned from Goa and was alarmed by the absence of his wife and children. Upon meeting his wife, she disclosed the details of the assault. With his support, the victim filed a formal complaint at the police station on Tuesday. The accused nephew has been arrested and is currently in judicial custody.
