According to reports, the minor was near her house when a neighbor allegedly took advantage of her being alone and molested her. The victim immediately informed her family about the incident. The news spread rapidly in the area, prompting locals to rally around the victim's family. The victim's family approached Jorapokhra Police Station to file a complaint against the accused.

However, the family of the alleged perpetrator reportedly arrived at the station and attempted to pressure the victim's family into refraining from filing an official complaint. Local residents have disclosed that the accused has a history of similar offenses and had previously served jail time for molestation.

Growing Community Tensions

By evening, a crowd gathered near the police station, demanding strict action against the accused.
