Jhansi: Fake female TTE checks ticket, imposes fine on passengers; Caught in act | WATCH

New Delhi: A shocking incident has come to light from Uttar Pradesh's Jhansi where a female posing as a ticket examiner was discovered unlawfully inspecting tickets on the Patalkot Express, which operates between Patalkot and Chhindwara. The situation was exposed when observant passengers became suspicious of her activities and promptly reported the matter to the Railway Protection Force (RPF).

According to sources, the RPF took immediate action after receiving the complaint. A Chief Ticket Inspector (CTI) was dispatched to the scene, and the fraudulent ticket examiner was detained and handed over to a female constable for further interrogation. Despite the RPF's efforts to address the situation, the young woman was subsequently transferred to the Government Railway Police (GRP) station. However, the GRP station declined to accept her, creating a complication in the handling of the case.

Video surfaces on social media 

In the video, a woman is seen as a Train Ticket Examiner (TTE) wearing a uniform and a railway ID card around her neck. She also wears a pink jacket over her uniform. The woman is then seen checking tickets from various passengers and demanding fines from those who don't have tickets, further pretending to be a legitimate TTE.
