Bihar political stir: Amidst the recent political upheaval in Bihar triggered by comments from Lalu Prasad Yadav's daughter, Rohini Acharya, targeting Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, JD(U) leader KC Tyagi assured that all is well within the INDIA bloc. Tyagi emphasized the robustness of the alliance, dispelling any concerns about internal discord.

The INDIA Alliance Stands Firm

Speaking exclusively to ANI, KC Tyagi reassured, "INDIA gathbandhan (alliance) salamat hai (INDIA bloc is safe). Everything is fine with the alliance." The clarification comes in response to the recent social media jibes, adding a layer of tension to the political landscape in Bihar.

Rohini Acharya's Swipe at JD(U)

Earlier, Rohini Acharya, daughter of RJD patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav, took a swipe at JD(U) through a now-deleted tweet, questioning the consistency of the 'socialist party' (JDU) as it navigates changing political dynamics. Despite the apparent disagreement, Tyagi maintained that the alliance remains unaffected by such remarks.

JD(U) Refrains from Commenting on Rohini Acharya's Tweets

Addressing Rohini Acharya's tweets and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's response, Tyagi commented, "Baccho ke comments par hum comment nahi karte (We do not comment on children's comments)." He clarified that Nitish Kumar's earlier remarks on dynastic politics were not aimed at Lalu Yadav or Sonia Gandhi but were a tribute to Karpoori Thakur's commitment to social justice.

Nitish Kumar's Stance on Dynastic Politics

On the birth centenary of Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur, Nitish Kumar had strongly criticized dynastic politics, citing Thakur's commitment to not promoting his family members. The remarks were seen as a broader commentary on the contemporary political landscape that often witnesses the perpetuation of dynastic legacies.

Recognition for Karpoori Thakur

In a significant development, Rashtrapati Bhavan announced the posthumous award of Bharat Ratna to Karpoori Thakur. Born in 1924 in a marginalized section of society, Thakur's political journey was dedicated to fighting social discrimination and championing the cause of the oppressed. His legacy is marked by a steadfast commitment to affirmative action, providing opportunities to the underprivileged sections of the country.

KC Tyagi's assertion of stability within the INDIA alliance aims to assuage concerns arising from recent political statements. The focus now shifts to the evolving political dynamics in Bihar as the state navigates through this period of heightened political activity. Stay tuned for updates on this developing political narrative.
