J-K News: In a shocking incident, in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir, a terrorist strike on Sunday resulted in seven fatalities and five injuries. Two of the victims, according to officials, were migrant workers who passed away immediately. The attack took place near an under-construction tunnel where the workers were part of a construction crew. Officials confirmed that security forces quickly reached the location and cordoned off the area to prevent further attacks.

According to initial reports, the migrant workers were working on the Z Morh tunnel project, which connects Gaganeer to Sonamarg in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. Following the attack, security forces launched an operation to secure the area and track down the assailants. A massive search operation is currently underway as authorities investigate the motive behind the attack and the identity of those responsible.
The casualty figure from the Gagangir attack is not final as there are a number of injured labourers, both local & non-local. Praying that the injured make a full recovery as the more seriously injured are being referred to SKIMS, Srinagar.
