New Delhi: Unidentified terrorists launched an attack on a Jammu and Kashmir Police team in the Thana Mandi area of Rajouri district on Tuesday evening. The incident has prompted a massive cordon and search operation by both the police and the Indian Army, as security forces work to track down the assailants.The confrontation occurred around 7:30 PM when police and Rashtriya Rifles personnel responded to reports of suspicious activity in the lower Karyote village of Thana Mandi. Upon noticing the search parties, the terrorists opened fire before fleeing under the cover of darkness.
