The feud between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan began in 2008 after a heated altercation at actress Katrina Kaif's birthday party, which led to the two avoiding each other for nearly five years. The cold war between Bollywood's biggest stars left fans and the media speculating for years.

When Baba Siddique’s Iftar party turned foes to friends

In 2013, at Baba Siddique’s famous annual iftar party, the long-standing tension between the Khans finally thawed. Siddique cleverly seated Shah Rukh Khan next to Salman's father, Salim Khan, facilitating an interaction that ended with the two actors embracing each other. The viral photo of their hug became a symbol of reconciliation, bringing an end to their public feud.

Baba Siddique responded with modesty

Despite being at the center of the event that brought the two actors together, Siddique humbly downplayed his role, attributing the reconciliation to divine intervention. He said, "They both wanted it... Allah shows the way. I had no role to play."

Why was Baba Siddiqui famous?

Beyond Bollywood, Siddique was a towering figure in Maharashtra politics, known for his ability to unite people from various fields.
