Amid ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, the air carrier, Air India has extended the suspension of its scheduled flights to and from Tel Aviv till October 18.The full-time service carrier, which generally operates five weekly scheduled flights to Tel Aviv, had earlier took the decision to suspended the services till October 14.Meanwhile, according to an official on Saturday said that all the flights that were scheduled to and from Tel Aviv have now been suspended till October 18.In addition to this, taking it to its official X handle, the company has announced a one-time waiver on charges for rescheduling or cancellation of confirmed tickets on flights to and from Tel Aviv. The carrier will operate chartered flights to bring back Indians depending on the requirements, the official added.The move has been taken by the Government of India keeping the safety of Indian citizens, following the unprecedented attacks on Israeli cities by Hamas militants since October 7, 2023.
