Adminstration action regarding this matter

The administration sprinkled water on the roads to provide relief from the scorching heat. The Municipal Corporation is spraying water from anti-smoke guns on the main roads of the city, so that the common people can get relief, but due to all these efforts, the common people are not getting any relief from the heat. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of heatwave for the next four days. Due to this, people are less likely to get relief from the heat in the month of May.

In Rajasthan, the effect of humidity and heat increases from the beginning of the day. Due to this, even coolers and fans are not able to provide relief. Heatwave and scorching sun continue till late evening. After 1 pm till 4 pm the temperature increases by 2 to 3 degrees. Due to this, it becomes difficult for people to sit even at home. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of heatwave for the next four days in 22 districts from Friday. In such a situation, the havoc of extreme heat will continue. There is little possibility of getting relief from the heat in the month of May. Here, the administration has made preparations to protect against the heat and has also issued instructions to reserve beds in hospitals.

Schools to be closed

Along with this, the Collector said that school holidays have been declared. Private schools have also been strictly instructed not to call children to school. The Education Department has been ordered to take action against any school calling children to school. The District Collector said that as per the orders of the State Government, the leaves of the officers and employees working in the Water Department, Electricity Department, Revenue Officers and all types of helplines have been cancelled.
