On Monday, a gunfight broke out between militants and members of the security forces in Jammu's Doda area. According to the sources, reinforcements have been dispatched to the region to fortify the perimeter. The sources state that a shooting incident was recorded 300 kilometers from Doda in the Shia Dhar Chaund Mata area of Koti village. According to a police spokeswoman, the two sides engaged in gunfire in the Desa Forest region.

Following reports of terrorist activity, the police, with support from the Army, established a cordon and searched approximately 9.30 am in the Koti forest region in the Doda district. They added that on Monday morning, security personnel searched the Rumbal Nallah Kothian, Pouni, Dera Babbar, Kundle, and Kanjli areas of the Reasi district.
