Viral News: A heartwarming and unexpected moment graced a banquet hosted by President Droupadi Murmu on Saturday, as an Indonesian delegation captivated their Indian hosts by performing the beloved Bollywood song "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai." This delightful rendition, which has since gained viral attention, featured senior Indonesian ministers singing the iconic track originally performed by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik from the 1998 film directed by Karan Johar.

A Gesture of Diplomacy

The banquet took place at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, honoring Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto during his inaugural state visit to India. This visit is particularly significant as it marks a historic milestone in the relationship between India and Indonesia, with Subianto also serving as the Chief Guest for India’s 76th Republic Day celebrations. The video shared by ANI showcases the ministers, elegantly attired in sharp suits paired with traditional Indonesian headgear, the Songkok, as they infused the evening with Bollywood charm.

Strengthening Bilateral Relations

During his visit, President Subianto engaged in vital discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The conversations focused on enhancing political, defense, and security collaboration between the two nations. Notably, Subianto is the fourth Indonesian leader to be honored as India’s Republic Day Chief Guest, underscoring the significance of their burgeoning diplomatic ties.The upcoming 76th Republic Day celebrations are poised to be a grand spectacle, with President Murmu and President Subianto arriving in a traditional buggy.

The festivities will commence with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem and a 21-gun salute. A highlight of the event will include a performance of "Sare Jahan Se Achha" by 300 artists, along with Mi-17 1V helicopters showering flower petals over the ceremony.Additionally, a 190-member band from the Indonesian Military Academy, Genderang Suling Canka Lokananta, will participate in the celebrations, showcasing Indonesia's rich military heritage and discipline.
