All the Chandrayaan missions of India's space agency ISRO that have reached the surface of the moon so far have made new discoveries about the moon as well as created a new record. Be it finding the presence of water on the moon or landing on the south pole of the moon for the first time in the world.

Indian Chandrayaan mission

It is because of the Indian Chandrayaan mission that the Indian tricolor has risen even higher on the surface of the moon. Now India has started preparations to send Chandrayaan-5 mission.
ISRO Chairman V. Narayan says that the central government has recently approved the Chandrayaan-5 mission. This is a big step towards India landing humans on the surface of the moon.

What is India's Chandrayaan-5 mission?

ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan says that India has set a target of landing humans on the surface of the moon by 2040. Chandrayaan-5 mission will be sent to build India's capacity in this direction. Not only this, India has also set a target of developing its own space station by 2035. The government has approved the Chandrayaan-5 mission. It will have a 350 kg rover. India and Japan will work together on it.

Chandrayaan-4 mission last year

Before Chandrayaan-5, India has to send Chandrayaan-4 mission. It is to be sent to collect samples from the surface of the moon. The government had approved the Chandrayaan-4 mission last year itself. This mission is to be completed for safe landing on the moon and then capacity building for its safe return. Along with this, the aim is also to develop the technology for collecting samples.

World's first lunar mission

Whereas before this India has completed 3 more Chandrayaan missions. India's Chandrayaan-3 mission was the world's first lunar mission in which the rover landed on the south pole of the moon. Not only this, with this mission India has also developed the capability to soft land on the surface of the moon.

India will send humans into space by 2035

Along with missions like Chandrayaan and Mangalyaan, India is also working on the Gaganyaan mission. Its aim is to send humans into space by 2035. At the same time, a target has also been set to establish an Indian space station. Currently, only 3 countries have been able to build their own space stations, these are America, Russia and China. These are space stations built in addition to the International Space Station.
