New Delhi: In a significant conversation on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with US President Joe Biden, where they discussed pressing global and regional matters. The dialogue covered the situation in Ukraine, Bangladesh, and the broader India-US strategic partnership. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi stated, “Spoke to @POTUS @JoeBiden on phone today. We had a detailed exchange of views on various regional and global issues, including the situation in Ukraine. I reiterated India’s full support for the early return of peace and stability.”

The leaders also addressed the situation in Bangladesh, emphasizing the need for a swift return to normalcy. Ukraine's conflict 

Regarding Ukraine, Modi briefed Biden on his visit to Kyiv and his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Modi reiterated India's consistent stance advocating for dialogue and diplomacy to resolve the conflict and called for an early return of peace and stability.The discussion also underscored the leaders' shared concerns about Bangladesh, focusing on restoring law and order and protecting vulnerable communities.
