In the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian government has banned many Pakistani YouTube channels. Following the government's order related to national security or public order, many Pakistani YouTube channels will no longer be visible in India. After the government's decision, many Pakistani YouTubers channels like Arzoo Kazmi, ARY News, Shoaib Akhtar's channels will no longer be visible in India.
These channels were giving inflammatory and wrong information
The Government of India, on the recommendations of the Ministry of Home Affairs, has banned several Pakistani YouTube channels for spreading inflammatory and communally sensitive content, false and misleading information and misinformation against India, its armed forces and security agencies in the backdrop of the Pahalgam terror incident in Jammu and Kashmir.
These 16 channels were banned
A total of 16 YouTube channels have been banned, including Dawn News, Irshad Bhatti, Sama TV, ARY News, Bol News, Raftar, The Pakistan Reference, Geo News, Sama Sports, GNN, Uzair Cricket, Umar Cheema Exclusive, Asma Shirazi, Munib Farooq, Suno News HD, Razi Nama.

26 people killed
On 22 April 2025, terrorists killed 26 people, mostly tourists, in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the deadliest attack in the Valley after the Pulwama attack in 2019. The Resistance Front (TRF), a shadow outfit of the banned Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba terror group, claimed responsibility for the attack. According to sketches released by security agencies, three people - identified as Pakistanis - are believed to be involved in the attack
