Nita Ambani, chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, asserts that India is prospering at the ideal time and that the world is drawn to the country by its rich culture.

Besides this, she also talked about India’s first-of-its-kind, multi-disciplinary cultural space, the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) within the Jio World Centre located in the heart of Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex, which got opened a few months ago. She asserted that the Cultural Centre has seen a footfall of 5000-6000 every day just for two exhibits we had over one and a half lakh people coming in. “India is at the right place and time now,” she added.

In addition to the art and culture, the owner of the Indian Premier League cricket team Mumbai Indians, Nita Ambani said that the interest of the people is growing in cricket and so many people have invested in the same.

Notably, businesswoman Nita Ambani attended a preview of the exhibition ‘Tree & Serpent: Early Buddhist Art in India, 200 BCE–400 CE’ at The Met Museum. Over 140 objects highlighting the pre-Buddhist origins in India will be displayed from July 21 to November 13 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The event was attended by US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti, India’s Ambassador to the US Taranjit Singh Sandhu, and Consul General of India in New York Randhir Jaiswal.
