It was decided by the parties present at the meeting to discuss the caste census problem. Twelve leaders of the 14-member panel were present in the meeting that took place under the shadow of a row over DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalins remark on the Sanatan Dharma.The first meeting of the coordination committee was attended by 12 member parties.
