INDIA bloc rally: Delhi braces for traffic chaos- Key routes affected!

Delhi: With top opposition leaders set to attend the INDIA bloc's 'Loktantra bachao rally' at Ramleela ground, the Delhi police has announced major traffic restrictions across central Delhi. Commuters are advised to use metro services and plan their journeys in advance to avoid inconvenience.

Major leaders attending the rally

Political heavyweights including Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, Akhilesh Yadav, and Tejashwi Yadav will participate in the rally, organized in response to the recent arrest of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

Key traffic restrictions & road closures

From 9 AM to 3 PM, vehicle movement will be restricted or diverted on several major routes, including:

  • Ranjeet Singh Flyover (Barakhamba Road to Guru Nanak Chowk)
  • Vivekanand Marg (Minto Road to Kamla Market)
  • Hamdard Chowk, JLN Marg (Delhi Gate to Guru Nanak Chowk, Ajmeri Gate)
  • Turkman Gate, Chaman Lal Marg, Kamla Market, Rajghat Chowk, DDU Marg
  • Authorities have warned that additional diversions may be imposed as needed.
