A shocking incident has been reported in which a Muslim man named Imran trapped a 17-year-old minor in a love trap by changing his name, kidnapped her, and brutally raped her. The man allegedly threatened and blackmailed her. While the family was out on a holiday, the teenager from the family went out of the railway station to get some stuff. But, when she did not return for a long time, the family filed a case at the GRP police station. Later after the police investigation was initiated, the man was caught and taken under custody. Courts verdictSpecial Judge for POCSO cases, Archana Sagar sentenced the accused of raping a 17-year-old minor to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment. Also, a fine of 20 thousand was imposed. The teenager was raped after being kidnapped at Dehradun railway station two years ago.Abducted girl from railway stationOn Friday, Assistant District Government Advocate Alpana Thapa said that a family from Mathura had come to visit Mussoorie on March 1, 2022. After visiting Mussoorie on March 3, they were waiting for the train at Doon railway station to return to Mathura.During this time, the teenager in the family went out of the railway station to get some stuff. But, when she did not return for a long time, the family filed a case at the GRP police station. Police investigation revealed that Imran, son of Jakam, a resident of Kosi Kala, forcibly took the teenager from the railway station to Delhi.Love trap The teenager told the court that she had known Imran for four years. Imran befriended her by changing his name. He was already married and had three children. But the teenager was unaware of this. It was alleged that he had raped the teenager earlier also by threatening her.Imrans deceitful actionsShe was being blackmailed by taking her obscene photos. She said that Imran took her from Dehradun to Delhi and later to Faridabad. Here also physical relations were forcibly made with the teenager. After hearing all the evidence and witnesses, the court convicted the accused Imran and sentenced him.
