The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a warning in Goa, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Goa as the monsoon is changing its way and settling down in coastal Kerela, Karnataka, and Konkan Goa from Monday. With this, heavy rains and thunderstorms are predicted to occur in the coming days.Conditions in GoaThe Goa education department announced that the schools in the state will remain shut till July 15, considering the preductions. Meanwhile in Maharashtra, districts of Satara, Kolhapur, Sindhudurg, and Ratnagiri have gotten red alert warnings in already heavy rainfall all over the state. Mumbai and Palghar have received a yellow alert and Thane, Raigad, and Pune have also received an orange alert. Monsoon acted out in many parts of Delhi on Saturday causing traffic surges and waterlogging, bringing relief to people after the scorching heat of July. Noida also witnessed rains over the weekend.As rains make their way through Maharashtra, the Kamwari river in the Bhiwandi area of Thane overflowed on Sunday, making people leave their houses.
