Chennai: Veteran Music Composer Ilayaraja met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister also shared a post in his social media handle after meeting the Rajya Sabha MP and said he made history by presenting his first-ever Western classical symphony, Valiant, in London a few days ago.

Ilayaraja, who has achieved various achievements in music, premiered his first symphony 'Valiant' in London on the 9th, along with the world's finest orchestra, the 'Royal Philharmonic' Orchestra. With this, he has also created the record of being the 'first Indian' to premiere a symphony in London.

The symphony concert titled 'Valiant', which had hundreds of musicians playing simultaneously to the notes provided by Ilayaraja, left the audience spellbound and mesmerized. Ilayaraja created the symphony in just 34 days and treated music lovers around the world to a feast.
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has announced that a felicitation ceremony will be held on behalf of the Tamil Nadu government.
'Meeting PM was an unforgetable experience'
In this situation, Ilayaraja, who met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in person in Delhi today (March 18), received congratulations from him for his symphony music. In this regard, Ilayaraja wrote on his X website, “The meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi was an unforgettable one. We talked about various things including Symphony Valiant. I bow down to Prime Minister Modi’s love and support.”
It is noteworthy that Ilayaraja has announced that the symphony will be taken around the world, and that he will premiere the symphony in France on September 6th and in Dubai on October 6th.
