As of right now, the government has not responded to the students' demands. Amritsar has regularly experienced summer temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius. The temperature in Delhi, a nearby city, reached 52 degrees Celsius, the highest recorded temperature in India. The "sleeping" protest, which was spearheaded by the students at IIM Amritsar, has gained attention on social media due to its uniqueness.
