Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Wednesday dismissed all the speculation that he has resigned as chief minister of Himachal Pradesh. According to media sources, he asserted, "I want to make it clear that I haven't resigned. We are fighters and we will prove our majority." He also said that their party will be in power for next five years.

The development has come hours after, Himachal Pradesh Minister Vikramaditya Singh stepped down from his position, a day after the Rajya Sabha election result in the state.

On the other hand, while speaking on Himachal crisis at the press conference, Congress General Secretary in-charge Communications Jairam Ramesh said the cross-voting is unfortunate.

Meanwhile, there have been speculations that Sukhu has suggested three names Harshvardhan, Rohit Thakur and Jagat Singh Negi for the post of chief minister to the party high command.
