New Delhi: In a shocking incident captured on CCTV, a speeding car struck a woman pedestrian in Hyderabad’s Vanasthalipuram area, resulting in severe head injuries. The accident occurred in front of Vivekananda Park, where the 21-year-old woman was violently thrown several meters from the point of impact.
The footage reveals a hatchback careening out of control and swerving sharply to the left. The vehicle, traveling at high speed, collided with the pedestrian and several others in the vicinity before the driver fled the scene. The impact was so intense that it caused serious head injuries to the woman, who was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Inspector Ashok Reddy of the local police department has confirmed that the vehicle involved in the recent hit-and-run accident has been successfully identified. However, the driver responsible for the incident remains at large, having abandoned the car and escaped the scene on foot. The police are now concentrating their efforts on tracking down the driver, with a thorough investigation underway to locate the individual and hold them accountable for their actions.
Despite identifying the vehicle, the driver's whereabouts remain unknown and authorities are leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit of justice. To aid in their search, the police are meticulously examining CCTV footage and other evidence, following every lead to ensure that the driver is brought to justice and held responsible for the hit-and-run incident.
