While returning from a temple visit with her sister, Sonal Sinha was brutally attacked by her husband, Kundan Ram. He stabbed her multiple times, leaving her grievously injured. Despite the frantic efforts of her family, who rushed her to Sadar Hospital, Sonal's injuries were too severe. She was referred to Patna for advanced care, but tragically, she passed away en route.

The entire attack was captured by a nearby CCTV camera, providing clear evidence of the brutality of the act. The footage shows Kundan intercepting Sonal, demanding custody of their child, and then launching his vicious assault when she suggested resolving the matter through the courts.
