In a shocking incident, a six-month-old foetus was discovered lodged in the pipe of a toilet in a house in Ghaziabad on Sunday. The grim discovery came to light when the pipe ruptured, leading to the blockage being investigated.

The house owner, Devendra, immediately informed the police, prompting officers from Indirapuram police station to rush to the scene. The police stated that the landlord noticed water accumulating and, upon inspecting the severed pipe, found the foetus stuck inside.

Nine tenants under investigation

The property, which has nine tenants residing on the premises, has become the focal point of the investigation. Authorities have questioned all residents as part of their preliminary inquiry. The foetus has been secured following all legal protocols to aid in further investigation.

DNA tests to identify suspect

To determine the person responsible, the police will conduct DNA tests comparing the foetus with samples collected from the tenants. Indirapuram Assistant Commissioner of Police, Swatantra Kumar Singh, confirmed that a detailed investigation is underway.

"Necessary legal steps have been followed, and further evidence is being collected to identify the individual responsible," Singh stated.

This case has raised concerns in the local community, with police efforts focused on uncovering the truth behind the incident.
