New Delhi: Noida Police has submitted a comprehensive 1200-page chargesheet against eight individuals, including popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav. Revelations within the chargesheet have sent shockwaves through the community. According to the document, Noida Police alleges that Yadav utilized virtual phone numbers to procure snakes and their venom.

Unveiling the virtual number connection

The chargesheet reveals a startling modus operandi wherein Yadav reportedly employed virtual phone numbers, also known as online or digital phone numbers, to maintain anonymity in his dealings. These virtual numbers enabled him to dissociate phone numbers from specific devices or locations, facilitating clandestine transactions.

Snake venom procurement

The chargesheet elucidates how Yadav, when in need of snakes and venom for his events, would contact his associate Vinay using a virtual number. Vinay, in turn, would reach out to his acquaintance Ishwar, who had connections with snake charmers, including Rahul. Acting on Yadav's instructions, these charmers would provide the required snakes and venom for the parties.

Key witnesses and testimonies

The chargesheet incorporates statements from 24 witnesses, shedding light on the alleged activities. Additionally, it highlights the extraction of venom from snakes at Ishwar's banquet hall. Noida Police asserts that Yadav maintained contact with snake charmers implicated in the case, elucidating the basis for the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act charges against him.

Forensic evidence and expert opinions

DCP Noida, Vidya Sagar Mishra, underscores the thorough investigation, which included collaboration with experts from Mumbai's Department of Forensic Medicine and Psychology. The chargesheet incorporates forensic reports from Jaipur, confirming the presence of cobra and krait species venom among the confiscated samples.

Legal proceedings and ensuing actions
