How Iram Saifi became mastermind of honey-trap? She entrapped her own aunt

Shahnaz Bano, a resident of Nakatiya, was robbed on the night of 28th July. Robbers covered their faces with masks and robbed about 15 lakh rupees including jewellery and cash. However, the police revealed the facts the next day.

New Delhi: A shocking incident has come to light from Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly where a honey trap gang member identified as Iram Saifi has been arrested and sent to jail by police on Thursday. 

Following the arrest, she was medically examined. Iram Saifi has several cases of honey trapping against her. However, she was confident that the police would not send her to jail and that only those who had committed the robbery would be sent to jail.

Niece makes plot for aunt's robbery

Shahnaz Bano, a resident of Nakatiya, was robbed on the night of July 28. Robbers covered their faces with masks and robbed about 15 lakh rupees including jewellery and cash. However, the police revealed the facts the next day. Police said four criminals including Arsh Saifi alias Ballu of Nakatiya were arrested. When they were questioned, the plot of the robbery was written by Arsh Saifi's sister Iram Saifi. 

Criminal Ram Kashyap told the police during interrogation that Iram Saifi had called him to Sanjay's place in Banshinagar. He said that good stuff would be found by robbing the house of Shahnaz Bano, who is their maternal aunt. Iram had frequent visits to Shahnaz Bano's house. 

Police arrest Iram 

Iram arrived at the police station on Thursday morning, unaware that she was about to be arrested. Initially, the police told her she would be questioned and then allowed to go home. However, after a medical examination, the police revealed their true intentions, accusing her of being the mastermind behind the robbery and claiming she had instructed the robbers. Iram was devastated by the sudden turn of events and broke down in tears, only to be met with mistreatment by the police
