Suchana Seth, the CEO of AI start-up based in Bengaluru who was detained for allegedly killing her four-year-old kid at a Goa hotel, had reserved the room for 6 to 10 January, but she checked out earlier, according to the sources.

According to the preliminary investigation, Seth booked the hotel room in North Goa but on January 7, at around 9:10 PM, she requested the hotel staff to arrange a taxi for her, as she has some urgent work in Bengaluru. Meanwhile, the FIR claims that she departed at 12.30 am.

Truck accident at Goa-Karnataka border

As per police officials, a truck mishap at Chorla Ghat, located at the intersection of Goa-Karnataka border, turned out to be a blessing for the police as the cab was stranded for over four hours, from 2 am to 6 am and police got the chance to nab her.

Violence charges & maintenance

It is to be added here that Seth had sent a message to her husband on January 6 that he can meet his son on Sunday, as mandated the recent order of the court, the two of them were embroiled in divorce case. Apart from this, another development in the case says that Seth had filed domestic violence charges against her estranged husband and sought Rs 2.5 lakh monthly maintenance in the battle, claiming that her husband had an annual income of Rs 1 crore. 

In addition, Suchana Seth claimed to have been living apart from her partner since March 2021. She supported her claims of domestic violence with copies of her WhatsApp messages, photos, and medical records, which she gave the court.

On November 18, 2010, the couple tied the knot in Kolkata, and on August 14, 2019, their now-deceased son was born. According to sources, Suchana Seth filed a domestic abuse complaint against Venkata Raman PR in August 2022.
