Tata Electronics Fire: A massive fire broke out at the Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) facility in Uddanapalli near Nagamangalam, Hosur, Tamil Nadu, during the early hours of Saturday. The blaze, which originated in the mobile phone accessories painting unit, prompted the immediate evacuation of all employees on-site. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries have been reported so far.Seven fire tenders deployed to control the blaze, video surfacesIn response to the emergency, seven fire tenders were dispatched to the scene to contain the flames. TEPL operates with a workforce of approximately 4,500 employees, with around 80% of them being women. At the time of the incident, about 1,500 staff were on duty. Fortunately, there have been no casualties or injuries reported.” The timely response of the fire department helped prevent further escalation.Police investigation underwayThe cause of the fire is currently under investigation. A company spokesperson issued a statement: “There has been an unfortunate incident of fire at our plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu.
