Three men were taken into custody for reportedly engaging in gang sexual assault on a nine-year-old girl in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Police in Tilwara said that the girl was lured by her friend Shubham Rajak, who then drove her away. Her frightened relatives began searching for her when the girl did not return for an extended period of time. After a while, the distraught victim came back and told the family members about her experience.
The girl said that Shubham Rajak (30), Ashish Kori (25), and Jitu, also known as Jitendra Chaudhary, led her to a desolate location where they sexually assaulted her in a group before fleeing and leaving her behind close to the house. The girl was taken straight to the Tilwara police station by her relatives as soon as they learned about the incident.The girl's statement was recorded by Jabalpur police, who also began their investigation that same night and detained the three offenders.The three suspects have been charged under the POCSO Act by the police in response to the minor's accusation.
Jitendra Chaudhary works as a driver, while the accused, Shubham Rajak, owns and operates an egg shop in Gadha, according to the information. Jitendra is the owner of the vehicle that was driven during the event. I work as a laborer, Ashish Kori.
According to CSP Devendra Pratap Singh, the accused were going to drive out of Jabalpur on Monday night at around 1.30 am after realizing that a FIR had been filed in the matter and that they were in a tight spot. When the police learned of this, they promptly set up shop and took the three people into custody. Additionally seized is the Bolero that was utilized in the incident.
