Horrific! Class 8 student brutally assaulted in Delhi, stick inserted in genitals by schoolmates

A Class 8 student in East Delhi was allegedly assaulted by his seniors and one of his classmates inserted a wooden stick into his private part. An FIR has been registered in this case and a minor accused student has been arrested. The incident has triggered massive protests in East Delhi on Saturday. 

Know what happened? 

The incident took place on March 18 when the 14-year-old student was cornered by his classmate and his senior friends and was brutally thrashed. So, according to media reports, the victim got into a fight with his classmate on March 13. Initially, the victim didn't tell anyone about the incident. But, on March 20, he complained of stomach and had to undergo an operation. 

Doctors reveal serious injury

Doctors at the hospital told the boy's family that he was probably the victim of an attack. After the boy regained consciousness on April 2, he narrated the entire incident to his family, after which a complaint was lodged with the police. The medical report also revealed that a serious injury was caused by a wooden stick being inserted into the boy's private part. “The student told about the incident of being beaten by one of his classmates.”

Police action into this matter

In this case, the accused teenager was caught and presented before the Juvenile Justice Board. In this matter, the police have registered a case under different sections, in which a case has also been registered under the Indian Penal Code section 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), 377 (unnatural offences), 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code and the POCSO Act.
