Hindu mob beats two men in suspicion of cow smuggling; VIDEO surfaces

New Delhi: A shocking video has surfaced all over social media where two men faced a terrifying ordeal on Sunday. A 24-year-old men named Sonu son of Bansiram, and 35-year-old Sundar son of Balwant Singh, both from Fatehabad, faced a horryfing experience on Sunday night near Laseri Toll plaza in Rajasthan. They were mistaken for cow smugglers and attacked by a group of 10 cow vigilantes.

According to reports, the incident happened around 11 pm when Sonu and Sundar were transporting a truck loaded with lime from Jaipur to Bhatinda, Punjab. The vigilantes started following them on bikes and jeeps from Sadulpur bypass. As they approached the toll plaza, the attackers began assaulting them despite their attempts to explain that the truck was carrying lime.

Statement of Victim

"They didn't listen and beat us until we lost consciousness," said one of the victims, recounting the harrowing experience. The assailants fled the scene as soon as the police arrived.

The victims managed to identify some of the attackers who were shouting names like Sonu, Soniyo, Dinesh, and Varun during the assault. The police have detained a few individuals in connection with the incident, and an investigation is currently underway.

Such incidents of vigilantism based on mistaken identity have raised concerns over law and order in the region. The local authorities have assured that stringent action will be taken against those responsible for the brutal attack.

Sonu and Sundar, both recovering from their injuries, expressed shock over the incident and hope that justice will prevail.
