New Delhi: In a dramatic operation, Jaipur Police successfully rescued a young man named Anuj, who had been kidnapped on August 18 and held hostage in a hotel in Solan, Himachal Pradesh. The kidnappers had demanded a ransom of INR 20 lakh from Anuj’s family, keeping him bound and gagged during the ordeal.

Acting swiftly on the case, Jaipur Police arrested the culprits and tracked Anuj’s location to the Solan hotel. In a now-viral video, officers can be seen entering the room where Anuj was being held. One officer is heard saying, "Hello Anuj, Jaipur Police," as they approached the visibly shaken youth.

Mastermind identified as Virendra Singh

The mastermind behind the kidnapping has been identified as Virendra Singh, a software engineer. Alongside Virendra, four other individuals were arrested in connection with the crime: Vinod Singh, Amit Singh, Jitendra Bhandari, and Jamuna Sarkar. The police were able to safely recover Anuj after apprehending the suspects.
