Sweltering heat is leaving an unbearable impact on individuals belonging to all age groups. Another such incident has surfaced in which several students fainted due to prevailing heatwave conditions at a school in Bihar's Sheikhpura. The girls were seen struggling to even respire with other members of the school carrying them to hospitals on e-rickshaws, tempos, and bikes after the ambulance did not arrive.
The headmaster had informed the public health department and requested for sending an ambulance on an urgent basis but the delay in the arrival of the ambulance infuriated the villagers, who then blocked the road and protested against the delayed response from the administration.
Dr Rajnikanth of Sadar Hospital Sheikhpura, where the girls have been admitted said that due to rising temperature, students are facing difficulties. The condition of the students are now stable. Another medico, Dr Satyendra told ANI that students must keep themselves hydrated. They must try to drink as much as water possible and to avoid facing heat.
