4-year-old child died due to burning alive along with two domestic animals on Monday. After the post-mortem on Tuesday, the hospital staff handed over the body to the relatives. When asked for the dead body, it was said that this is the responsibility of the police. Heera Uike told that he has been farming on his ancestral land in Bhurka village since 2021. My wife Kamla Bai, elder son Chandan Raj (4), one and a half year old son Kanchan Raj, one year old daughter Gayamati and father Tikaram live with me. Son Chandan became disabled in his legs two years after birth. He also had tremors. Got treatment at many places but did not get relief. On Monday evening he had gone to another village, Kathautiya.

The wife was out for some work. The father had left the house to fetch water. Only the three children were present inside the hut. When the fire broke out, Kanchan and Gayamati came out. Chandan could not move so he got stuck inside. Actually, the whole matter is of Bhurka village of Mehdwani police station area of ​​Dindori district. Where on Monday evening, a hut built in the field of farmer Heera Uike of Bhurka village caught fire. Four year old disabled innocent Chandan Raj was burnt alive and died due to the fire. Two animals also died along with him. There was mourning in the area after this heart-wrenching incident.

Mehndwani police reached the spot and started investigating the case. The child was brought to Mehdwani Hospital for post-mortem. It is being told that after the post-mortem, due to lack of a dead body, the father kept his child in a basket and reached his village Bhurka 14 km by bike, the video of which is going viral.

Police offered bike

When the father asked the police how to take the dead body? On this the policeman said – If it is possible then take it by bike. The father was forced to leave with his son's body on the bike. Its video has also surfaced. In this case, Mehdwani police station in-charge Prabhudas Mongre says that the brother of farmer Heera Singh Uike is the village secretary. His relatives also have a car. There is no hearse in the Community Health Centre. Even before any arrangements could be made, the relatives of the deceased had already taken away the body.
