A gruesome discovery has been made on the Delhi Highway near Kanpur, where a headless female body was found. The victim, believed to be around 35-years-old, was discovered early Wednesday morning by residents of Gujaini who were out for their routine walk. The body, which was unclothed and had broken limbs, has raised serious concerns of a violent crime.

According to the sources, the woman’s head is still missing, presumed discarded elsewhere. Forensic experts and dog squads were swiftly called to the crime scene, collecting crucial evidence for the ongoing investigation. Preliminary reports indicate that the woman’s throat was slashed with a sharp weapon, suggesting a brutal murder following an assault. There are strong suspicions that the victim may have been raped or gang-raped before her death.

Police Commissioner Akhil Kumar has mobilized three teams to unravel the case. "The body was found with severe trauma, and we are exploring all leads to identify the victim and the perpetrators," Kumar stated. Forensic experts are examining the area for further evidence, including analyzing CCTV footage from nearby locations.

Meanwhile, it is important to note that the discovery has prompted several critical questions: Why has the victim’s family not reported her missing if she was a local resident? Where is the head and the missing clothing of the woman? The absence of blood at the scene suggests the body was placed there several hours after death. Why was it left on the highway?

As per reports, DCP South Ravindra Kumar confirmed that teeth and slippers were found near the crime scene, further intensifying the investigation. The police are scanning CCTV footage from up to 500 meters around the area to track down leads. The body has been sent for a postmortem examination to confirm the exact cause of death.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as they work diligently to bring the perpetrators to justice.
