New Delhi: In a distressing incident at Kanya Junior School in Babina village, a teacher has been accused of molesting a Class 7 student. The student’s family, outraged by the allegations, confronted the teacher and assaulted her with slippers. An FIR has been registered based on the complaint filed by the student's mother.

Allegations of sexual misconduct

The incident unfolded on school grounds in the Kadaura police station area. According to the student, the teacher engaged in inappropriate behavior by taking her into a room, touching her inappropriately, and removing her dupatta. When the 13-year-old student resisted, the teacher allegedly retaliated with physical violence. Distressed by the experience, the student confided in her family, leading to an immediate and intense response.

Family's confrontation and police response

Upon learning of the alleged abuse, the student's family went to the school, where they created a ruckus and physically assaulted the teacher with slippers. Following the incident, the family went to the local police station and lodged a formal complaint. Based on this complaint, the police have registered a case against the teacher, initiating an investigation into the matter.

Official statements

Block Education Officer (BEO) Gyan Prakash has acknowledged the situation and confirmed that an investigation is underway. He stated that if the allegations are substantiated, appropriate departmental action will be taken and the report will be submitted to the Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA). Meanwhile, Circle Officer (CO) Kalpi Dr. Devendra Pachauri confirmed that the police are investigating the case following the FIR.
