New Delhi: In Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, a shocking case has come to light where a young woman and her mother were allegedly sexually exploited by a man under the pretense of marriage. The accused, identified as Iqrar, a resident of Pilibhit district, reportedly lured the girl with promises of marrying her, only to later betray her trust. The victim, hailing from a village in the Izzatnagar police station area, claims that Iqrar initially visited her home and took her to a hotel on the pretext of introducing her to his maternal uncle. Once there, he allegedly raped her and recorded an obscene video.The situation escalated when Iqrar took advantage of the victims mother as well, bringing her out of her home under false pretenses and then sexually abusing her. The victims ordeal did not end there Iqrar reportedly blackmailed the girl, threatening to make the video viral if she didnt comply with his demands. According to the girl, Iqrar pressured her to enter into a relationship with a sub-inspector from the Izzatnagar police station, claiming that the inspector was his close friend and “liked her.” Iqrar allegedly told the victim that if she pleased the inspector, he would delete the compromising video. However, if she refused, he threatened to destroy her life by making the video public.Fariyaad takes the center stageThe accuseds maternal uncle, Fariyaad Khan, also played a role in intimidating the victim and her family, reportedly threatening to kill both the girl and her mother if they dared to file a complaint. Terrified by the threats, the girl eventually confided in her family, prompting her father to approach the police. Following the victims complaint, a report was filed at the Izzatnagar police station under the direction of the SSP.The police have launched an investigation, which includes retrieving the accuseds call records to verify the involvement of the alleged sub-inspector. Jaishankar, the in-charge at Izzatnagar police station, confirmed that a case has been registered and that a medical examination of the victim is underway. Authorities are actively searching for the accused, and further arrests are expected soon.This case has sparked outrage in the community, with many demanding swift action against those involved.
