In a shocking revelation, the police have solved the mystery behind the killing of a 24-year-old boy in Chhattisgarhs Korean district. The police investigation has revealed that the boy was murdered by his uncle and aunt in the village Khond of Patna police station to complete their Chaitra Navratri Puja. Terrifying tale of human sacrifice The police said that the boy, Shanu Panikas uncle and aunt committed this brutal murder as part of their sacrifice ritual to complete their Chaitra Navratri Puja. The boy was staying with his aunt Amravati. Aunt indulged in Black Magic and superstitions connected to the puja for which she wanted to sacrifice Shanu by cutting his hair and nails. In an attempt to get these, she went to his room, where he was sleeping. Shanu resisted the aunts attempts to clip his nails and hair. But the scuffle was followed by Shanus death as a result of the aunt attacking him from behind with a crowbar that was lying nearby after which his uncle began strangling him. Following this, they both attempted to dispose of the body, but they fled after leaving it close to the well when they heard footsteps indicating someones arrival. How did the police crack the case Last month Shanus body was found near a well outside his aunts house. The boys family members had suspected the involvement of the couple as there were scratch marks on both his legs and toenails were uprooted. The post-mortem report further revealed about the underlying conditions after which the police initiated interrogation. Shanus aunt and uncle were questioned in connection with the case after which they revealed that they murdered the boy. Culprits arrested Police have registered a case against the accused under IPC sections 302, 201 and 34. The body of the victim was found on April 19 after the deceaseds brother Amit informed the police about this and suspected murder.
