In a gruesome incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras district, an 11-year-old boy named Kritarth Kushwaha was allegedly murdered as part of a tantric ritual to bring success and fame to DL Public School in Rasgawan village. The young victim, a Class 2 student at the school, was found strangled to death in the school hostel, with his body later discovered in a vehicle belonging to the school management.

Kritarth, who hailed from Tursen village, had been missing for several days before his body was recovered, sparking panic and outrage within the local community. According to police, the ritual was intended to ensure the school's prosperity. The investigation led to the arrest of five people linked to the crime: Ramprakash Solanki, Dinesh Baghel alias Bhagat (the school manager), Jashodhan Singh (father of the school manager), Laxman Singh, and Veerpal Singh alias Veeru.

Additional Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Singh confirmed the arrests, stating, "On 23rd September, a student was murdered at the hostel of DL Public School under Sahapau PS. A case was registered based on the complainant’s statement. Five accused, including the school owner, have been arrested and sent to judicial custody. Police will continue investigating all angles."

The case has sparked outrage across the region, with the community demanding justice for the young victim. The arrests mark a critical step in the investigation, though the shocking nature of the crime continues to reverberate through the area.
